UCLA has amazing food!!! Seriously, in comparison to other school eateries, this one is top notch.
The dining commons isn't too crowded so it's relaxing to come here in the mornings. They had chicken and waffles which were sooo delicious. There were also lots of other things to eat such as cereal, fruit, sausage, bacon, pancakes, waffles, eggs (scrambled, scrambled with toppings, and over easy), rice, potatoes, danishes and more!
My favorite part of this place was seeing the Tabasco pumps!!! I've never seen that before and absolutely loved it.
Pros:
-great tasting food
-good variety
- easy way to bus your dishes
Cons:
-absolutely nothing. This place is amazing!!!! -

Of all the dining halls I've been to since my freshman year, none have improved more than Covel. They have come a long way from serving boring pasta and dry roasted chicken.
While Covel may not have the greatest selection of Mediterranean food, it's still an overall good dining hall with its creative pasta dishes and succulent, marinated chicken. They even have a bar stocked with pita bread, hummus, pickled toppings, and much more.
My favorite time to go is brunch because the omelette lines are so much shorter than in other places. This is also the place at UCLA to get fried eggs. -

I was really surprised to realize that today was my first visit to Covel. I had some fries, dessert, salad and pasta. The private dining area is nice. Lots of food choices are available.

LOL reviewing a dining hall. Don't hate! Came here with friends after a final, it was so much fun. Lots of stations, foods, a extremely spacious BUT the food (at least when I went) wasn't the best in terms of taste. The ravioli-like soup (see photo) I got was one of the strangest, most blandest thing I've tasted at UCLA. But the fries and grilled cheese, soup were standard and acceptable. If you're hungry, by all means come and have a blast. You'll get filled up for sure. Just don't expect rich flavors in the food. The desserts were good though! Especially the chocolate cupcakes.

What I do like about the place is that it is very big, you'll fit your whole family in here if you have to. Also love the lockers to put your stuff in before entering. It was a great dining experience because we were hungry. I probably would never pay full price to come in though. It is not my favorite among the dining halls, but it is acceptable. -

Contrary to popular belief, the food here is not the best. The pasta is your typical dining hall pasta and was very dry when I had it. The sauces was mediocre and the soup was bland. Oh yeah, and the burgers? Soggy and hard to swallow.
However, the s'mores were amazing. If I were to somehow eat here again, I would just eat a ton of s'mores for my meal.
